Hender Scheme is a luxury Japanese brand, focusing on high-end, hand crafted footwear. For the first time ever they are collaborating with globally recognised brand Adidas Originals, for an extremely limited, completely hand-made collection.
Adidas Originals gave Hender Scheme the permission to go wild and rework three of their most iconic silhouettes, the NMD R1, the Superstar and the Micropacer HS. The results are none other than phenomenal. Imagine your favourite classic Adidas sneaker, hand crafted from the highest possible quality materials, with unmatched attention to detail.
The features of the collection are also second to none. The Micro Pacer is stripped of it’s pedometer, the NMD R1 has it’s trademark Boost sole removed and the Superstar is raised to a level of quality you could only imagine. Each model is graced with a completely replaceable luxury nail-in sole. This gives each shoe a timeless element, if you own a piece of this collection it’ll be staying with you for life. The uppers are created of such premium rate leather, instead of breaking down and becoming unwearable, they will only develop character with age – allowing the shoe to mould to reflect the owner.
If you’re liking the look of the Adidas Originals x Hender Scheme collection, you’ll be pleased to hear they’ll be releasing at select retailers around the globe from September 2nd. Each individual pair will be hand crafted at Hender Scheme’s Tokyo workshop, to new levels of quality and detail. Of course, the retail price will reflect this, but don’t be put off – you’ll be receiving a product of unrivalled craftsmanship.
